"Part 1, carrier planes strafe sea and land targets.
Part 2, the 6th Army lands on Luzon after a navy barrage (Jan. 9). Filipinos greet troops and help build an airstrip. The 37th Division enters Dagupan; troops battle for Damortis. Gens. MacArthur and Sutherland wade ashore.
Part 3 (Reel 2), 35th Division troops are lectured at Bastogne, Belgium. The 1st and 3rd Armies occupy rubbled Houffalize. A bridge and a blockhouse are exploded as the 7th Army retreats on the Alsace front. The 79th Division battles across a bridge near Haguenau.
Part 4 shows bomb damage at Markwiller, France.
Part 5 (Reel 3), British carrier planes attack Sumatra; 4 crash while landing.
